Drilling pilot holes, applying wood glue and a lot of screws and crown nails. Some would say overkill, we say quality!
A good quality outdoor paint protects the wood on the outside and keeps the hives in great shape longer. The bees will coat the raw wood inside the hives with propolis making sure these hive boxes will see many years of good use.
